Beautiful Burlesque

Last night I attended a night of burlesque performance at West Street Live, Sheffield.

I wasn't permitted to use flash photography but I am still fairly pleased with the outcome of the images. I am intrigued by the idea of who the dancers are in their normal day to day lives - what could be an office manager, secretary, doctor or cashier transforms for an evening into an alternate persona.
